EZFree Privacy Policy

This policy covers all sites in the EZFree ecosystem, including tools and anything added in the future.

What I collect

All tools run in your browser. Your text, files, calculations, and other inputs are processed locally on your device. No data is sent to any server.

Tool suggestions and bug reports submitted through the forms include the text you enter and your email if you provide one. These are sent to a server I control so I can read and respond to them.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

These advertising services may also:

• Collect anonymous usage data for ad targeting and analytics
• Use web beacons and similar technologies to measure ad effectiveness

You can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings or through Your Ad Choices.

You can turn ads off entirely. When you do, the AdSense script is not loaded at all. No ad code runs on the page. Google does not receive any data from your visit when ads are turned off.

Cookies

This site does not set any first-party cookies. Third-party services (advertising networks, CDN providers) may set cookies for ad personalization. When ads are turned off, no third-party cookies are set either. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies will not break any tools.

Third-party services

• Google AdSense displays advertisements. Does not run when ads are turned off. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics collects anonymous page view data. No cookies, no personal information. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• jsDelivr CDN (cdn.jsdelivr.net) loads open-source JavaScript libraries that some tools need to work. These are static files with no tracking.

There are no other third-party services. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no session recording, no heatmaps, no A/B testing. Nothing that watches what you do on the page.

Local storage

This site uses your browser's localStorage to save preferences like dark mode, ad preference, cookie consent choice, and favorited tools. This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to any server. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Data I don't collect

• I do not track which tools you use
• I do not track how long you spend on any page
• I do not read, store, or process any input you put into a tool
• I do not upload your files anywhere
• I do not sell any data to anyone
• I do not share data with anyone except the services listed above
• I do not fingerprint your browser

Data storage

I do not store your data on any server. Tool inputs and outputs are processed locally in your browser in real time. Once you close the page, that data is gone. The only things that persist are the localStorage preferences described above.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since I don't collect personal information from anyone, this is mostly a formality.

Your rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy laws you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Since this site does not store your personal data on any server, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. The only data that exists is in your browser's localStorage, which you fully control.

If you submitted a tool suggestion or bug report and want it deleted, email me and I'll remove it.

Changes

I may update this policy if I add new features or services. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
