Hi, I'm Evan. I got tired of "free" sites that barely work, cover everything in unskippable ads, and sell your data. So I made my own. The name is easy + free if that wasn't obvious.

The idea is pretty simple. There's a lot of stuff on the internet that costs money for no good reason. PDF editors that charge $20/month. Calculators behind paywalls. Tools covered in popups and trackers. I just build the free version and put it here.

Everything happens on your device. Your files and whatever you type never leave it. I don't upload anything, I don't store anything, and I don't track anything. The privacy policy is short because there's really not much to say.

There are sidebar ads on the sides of the page. That's how I pay for hosting. They're not popups, they don't play sound or video, and you can turn them off with the button at the top of every page.

I own this by myself. No investors, no partners, no board. It will only ever be owned by me or a nonprofit. I'm not going to sell it, and there's never going to be a premium tier or a pricing change. It just stays free.

Right now it's tools. I want to eventually build the free version of anything that companies overcharge for. Office software, news, whatever I can get to. I'm one person so it takes time, but more stuff gets added all the time.

None of this is original. Most of it is basic code that's been around forever. I just put it on a website.
