Frequently Asked Questions

How does the world clock handle daylight saving time? +
The clock uses the Intl.DateTimeFormat API with IANA time zone identifiers, which automatically account for daylight saving time changes. The displayed UTC offset will shift when DST starts or ends in a given zone.
Can I add any city in the world? +
The search covers major cities across all time zones. Type a city name and matching results will appear. If a small city is not listed, choose the nearest major city in the same time zone.
What does the day indicator mean? +
It shows how the date compares to your local date. "Tomorrow" means that city is already in the next calendar day relative to you. "Yesterday" means they are still in the previous day.
Are my selected cities saved? +
Yes. Your city selections are saved to your browser's local storage. They will persist when you close and reopen the page on the same browser.
