What Word file formats are supported? +
This tool supports .docx files (the modern Word format used since Word 2007). Older .doc files are not supported because they use a proprietary binary format that cannot be parsed in the browser.
Does the conversion preserve formatting? +
Basic formatting like headings, bold, italic, lists, and tables is preserved. Complex features like custom fonts, advanced layouts, or embedded macros may not convert perfectly.
What page sizes are available? +
You can choose between A4 (210 x 297 mm) and US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches). The content is scaled to fit the selected page size.
Why does my PDF look different from the original Word file? +
The converter extracts the document's content and re-renders it as HTML before converting to PDF. Some Word-specific formatting like custom styles, headers/footers, and page breaks may not carry over exactly.
