What image formats can I upload for QR scanning? +
You can upload PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, and WebP images. The QR code should be clearly visible and not too small or blurry for best results.
Why is my QR code not being detected? +
Make sure the QR code is clearly visible, not rotated at an extreme angle, and has enough contrast against the background. Cropping the image closer to the QR code can also help with detection.
Can I paste a screenshot instead of uploading a file? +
Yes. Copy any image to your clipboard (e.g., with the Snipping Tool or Print Screen) and press Ctrl+V or click the Paste button. The reader will decode any QR code found in the pasted image.
Does this support other barcode types besides QR codes? +
This tool is specifically designed for QR codes. It uses the jsQR library, which only decodes standard QR codes. For other barcode formats like UPC or Code 128, you would need a different scanner.
