Frequently Asked Questions
What PowerPoint formats are supported? +
This tool supports .pptx files (PowerPoint 2007 and newer). Older .ppt files are not supported. If you have a .ppt file, open it in PowerPoint or LibreOffice and save as .pptx first.
Are images from my slides included in the PDF? +
Yes. Embedded images (PNG, JPEG) in your slides are extracted and placed in the PDF at their original position and size.
What content is preserved in the conversion? +
Text content, basic positioning, font sizes, text colors, bold/italic styling, and embedded images are preserved. Slide backgrounds and shapes with solid fills are also rendered. Complex features like animations, transitions, charts, SmartArt, and video will not appear.
Why does my PDF look different from the original slides? +
This tool parses the raw XML inside the .pptx file and reconstructs the layout. Some advanced formatting, custom fonts, or complex shapes may not render exactly as they appear in PowerPoint. The text content will be accurate.
How many slides can I convert at once? +
There is no strict limit. Presentations with dozens of slides work fine. Very large files (100+ slides with many images) may take longer to process.
