The default quality of 0.92 produces excellent results with reasonable file sizes. Use 1.0 for maximum quality (larger files) or lower values like 0.7-0.8 for smaller files where some quality loss is acceptable.
Is there a page limit? +
There is no hard limit, but very large PDFs (100+ pages) may take longer to process and use more memory. For best performance, convert PDFs with fewer than 50 pages at a time.
What resolution are the output images? +
Pages are rendered at 2x scale (approximately 150 DPI equivalent) for crisp, high-quality images. This produces clear text and graphics suitable for most purposes.
Can I convert password-protected PDFs? +
This tool cannot process password-protected or encrypted PDF files. You would need to remove the password protection first using another tool before converting to JPG.
