Which format conversions are supported?

How does auto-detection work?

The tool examines the first characters and structure of your input. XML is detected by a leading < or declaration, JSON by { or [, TOML by [section] headers or key = value syntax, YAML by indentation-based key: value pairs, and CSV by comma/tab/semicolon-delimited rows.

What happens when converting CSV to a non-JSON format?

CSV is first parsed into a JSON array of objects (using the first row as headers), and then that intermediate JSON is converted to the target format. The same intermediate step applies to all non-direct conversions.

Does the converter preserve XML attributes?

Yes. XML attributes are stored as properties prefixed with '@' in the intermediate JSON representation. When converting back to XML, properties starting with '@' are written as attributes on the element.

Can I upload a file instead of pasting text?
