How many taps do I need for an accurate reading? +
You need at least 2 taps to get a BPM value, but accuracy improves with more taps. After about 8-10 taps the average stabilizes. The counter uses your last 20 taps for the calculation.
Does it reset if I stop tapping for a while? +
Yes. If more than 3 seconds pass between taps, the counter assumes you are starting over and resets automatically. This prevents stale data from affecting your new measurement.
Can I tap using my keyboard instead of clicking? +
Yes. Press any key on your keyboard to register a tap. You can also press R to reset the counter.
