How does the background removal work? +
Click on the background color you want to remove. The tool uses a flood-fill algorithm starting from the clicked point to find and remove all connected pixels of similar color. Adjust the tolerance slider to control how similar colors need to be to get removed.
What types of backgrounds can this remove? +
This tool works best with solid color backgrounds — white, black, green screen, or any uniform color. It uses color-matching rather than AI, so it works great for logos, product photos, and images with clean solid backgrounds.
What does the tolerance slider do? +
Tolerance controls how different a pixel's color can be from the clicked color and still be removed. Low tolerance (10-20) removes only exact color matches. High tolerance (50-80) removes a wider range of similar colors.
Can I undo the background removal? +
Yes. Click the Reset button to restore the original image. You can then click a different spot or adjust the tolerance and try again.
Is my image sent to a server for processing? +
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or transmitted.
